Bane Knezevic graduated in law at the Law University, Belgrade, and joined
McDonald’s as a management trainee in 1988 in London. Throughout his 15 years in the business, working in the UK, Czech Republic, Austria, Bulgaria and Hungary (Bane speaks seven languages), he has consistently demonstrated a passion for delivering great QSC as he progressed through the ranks.

As Managing Director in several markets, Bane demonstrated the ability to balance customer, employee and shareholder satisfaction, while building a business for long-term success with his focus on People and Talent Management development.

Before becoming CEO of McDonald’s in Germany, Bane oversaw European Operations and Training, as well as Human Resources, based in London. He worked alongside European Relationship Partners, country Managing Directors and Operations Leads to ensure effective implementation.
