Burda Direct reinforces Sales and Distribution in Poland

Burda Direct, Offenburg, expands its business activities in Poland. The specialist for direct marketing has founded Burda Direct Polska, a 50:50 Joint Venture of the Burda Direct Group and the Burda publishing house Eastern Europe (Burda Verlag Osteuropa). The core business areas of the new enterprise will include sales and administration of subscriptions of periodicals belonging to the Burda group as well as titles by other publishers. The overall marketing of publishing products will also be offered. Currently the programme includes round about 20 publications. The portfolio will have been expanded by the end of 2006.
